Thursday's Widows (2023)

A new Netflix miniseries from Mexico based on the novel Thursday Night Widows by Argentinian author Claudia Piñeiro (which also inspired a 2009 movie The Widows of Thursdays), this dramatic thriller takes place in an idyllic gated community that’s rocked when two nosy neighbors accidentally record three men killing themselves in a pool by electrocution on the day after Christmas. The men happened to meet up every Thursday which left their wives to go out and have fun once a week, hence the name. But now each episode focuses on one of five families in the community affected by the tragic event: the Andrades, the Guevaras, the Scaglias, the de la Lunas, and the Maldonados, showing different perspectives and slowly unraveling the mystery behind their deaths. Irene Azuela, Sofia Sisniega, and Mayra Hermosillo all have steamy sex scenes with their hubbies, with Azuela and Sofia baring their breasts, while Zuria Vega teams up with a body double for some boobage during plastic surgery.
