The Five Juanas (2021)

Like any good remake, the newer version has to kick up the stakes a little bit and for this Netflix series out of Mexico, they certainly dialed everything up to 11 in comparison to the 1998 original Colombian telenovela this 2021 streaming series is based on entitled Las Juanas.  In The Five Juanas aka La Venganza de las Juanas, we are dropped into a mystery of five women, from five completely different walks of life, that all share something in common.  For Juana Manuela (Zuria Vega), her life revolves around her sexual persona on stage as she's a pole dancer for the rich and powerful.  Juana Matilde (Juanita Arias) is a somewhat naive Colombian girl, who everyone lusts after.  Juana Valentina (Renata Notni) is a fashionista, Juana Bautista (Sofia Engberg) is a fortune teller at parties, and Juana Caridad (Oka Giner) is a habit wearing nun who has a secret naughty side.  As these five very different Juanas and their stories begin to unfold, their lives also begin to intersect and the coincidences begin to pile up more than just sharing the same first name.  None of them know the identity of their real life parents, all of them seemingly have connections to some of the most powerful people in Mexico, and more importantly, they all have the same birthmark in the same spot on their bodies, a little fish on their upper buttcheeks!  Now it's up to these new found friends(?), relatives(?), clones(?) to figure out the mystery of their relationship to one another.  Luckily for the audience, they stepped up the sexy in the casting of ALL Five Juanas, with Oka Giner, Sofia Engberg, Renata Notni, Juanita Arias, and Zuria Vega all making their Nude-Comer debut in the series as the titular ladies, along with a couple other sexy senoritas!
