Thick and Thin (2022)

Set in the city of Amiens in the north of France, this comedy (also titled Everything is Going to Hell) centers on a freelance reporter named Thomas (Thomes Scimeca) working for a local newspaper who’s assigned to write up a portrait about Usé (Nicolas Belvalette), a musician who recently founded a quirky new political party and ran unsuccessfully for mayor in the last municipal election. While the two are together, they discover a dead body lying in the middle of the trash cans, but before they can act, the man, JoJo (Jonathan Capdevielle) resurrects before their eyes, apparently fine but with some memory loss. The three embark on a journey to figure out what happened, and they end up connecting with his sister Marilou (Léonie Dahan-Lamort). Now, if anything is going to get your heart pumping, it’s Léonie going topless just over half an hour in when the gang finds a hot tub. When she stands up, your pants will go from thin to thick real quick!
