The Square is a Swedish film - nay, a Swedish satire of the country's attitude toward contemporary art. Christian is a somewhat pretentious, very powerful chief curator at the X-Royal museum, and he's tasked with finding and displaying art that will make headlines. One such display is a square of white light outside, meant to represent an area of respect, kindness, and equality. When his phone is stolen, he's too distracted to pay attention to the outrageous and controversial ad two execs are brewing up. Luckily, we are distracted by Elisabeth Moss, who plays an American journalist that sleeps with Christian, shows her boobs during cowgirl, and then argues with him about who should throw away the condom. A classic!
