The Progeny (1998) is a sci-fi horror flick about an unsuspecting woman who is impregnated by aliens who are experimenting on humans. It’s the old space men on the prowl and probing our women story line that we know and love. The baby develops fast and has the power to control mommy even while still in the womb. They don’t have a chapter on that in What to Expect When You’re Expecting. She should be suspicious when Wilford Brimley is her gynecologist. Worse is what the ultrasound picks up. You know you’re in trouble when the best help comes form a UFO expert played by Brad Dourif. It’s totally understandable why the aliens would go for our girl, played by Jullian McWhirter, who is topless throughout the movie and even flashes some ass. We’d tap that, too.
