The Holy Mountain (1973)

Produced in part with cash Yoko Ono and John Lennon fronted their old manager, The Holy Mountain (1973) is a trippy, surreal piece of Spanish cinema starring writer-director Alejandro Jodorowsky as a Christlike figure known as The Alchemist. Claiming he's on the verge of turning lead into gold, Al pals up with a mystical guide known as "The Thief" (Horacio Salinas) who introduces him to seven magicians, one representing each planet (lucky Nicky Nicholas gets to be "Berg, He whose planet is Uranus"). Nick and those whose planets are not as gassy, team up to prepare for their big heave-ho up the Holy Mountain, where they plan to kick out the bum gods who do nothing but stink up the joint. Of course, along the way thing get really, really strange. From sexy women able to make machines have the big O, to a man being kidnapped so his body could be turned into plastic molds of Jesus, this one is a nonstop parade of zany imagery. In fact, rumor has it George Harrison turned down the lead in this film because Alejandro wanted him to show his butthole. My sweet Lord! Like Al's earlier filmic supertrip, El Topo (1970), The Holy Mountain is heavy on symbolism, grotesquerie, and whackadoodle imagery—and all that weirdness has carved out a nice niche for him atop the high mountain of film cultdom. But since Mr. Skin's more of a fan of "yes sir, they're real" than the surreal, he was quite happy that Alejandro stuck so many topless women in this one. As Saturn, Alejandro's onetime wife Valerie Jodorowsky goes full frontal standing against a wall, while Mars (Adrianna Page) does the same before showing us buns, too, when she gets out of her futuristic bed. We'd like to mount her! If you're into thicker women, Guadalupe Perullers shows tiitty and kitty before hopping onto an enormously high future toilet. But the sexiest woman in the movie is the curly haired cutie Re Debris, who we get to see go full frontal while, well, jerking off some kind of an enormous robot machine, as well as while doing a dude in the back of his limo. Holy moly, she's hot in The Holy Mountain!
