The Fall Guy (1981-1982)

Decades ago, television viewers fell for the American action series The Fall Guy (1981-1986), not to be confused with the New Zealand movie The Fall Guys (2011). ABC’s hit show stars Lee Majors as the ridiculously-named Colt Seavers. Why not just call him Crash Boner or Knuckles Meataxe? He and his team —Howie “Kid” Munson (Douglas Barr) and blonde babe Jody Banks (Heather Thomas) — are Hollywood stunt performers who moonlight as bounty hunters. The popular series also featured sexy stunners Jo Ann Pflug as Samantha “Big Jack” Jack from 1981 to 1982 and Markie Post as Terri Shannon from 1982 to 1985. In addition to watching Ms. Thomas rock sexy swimwear, the show showcases the built bods on a bevy of gorgeous guest stars. For starters, check out the cleavage on Lucinda Crosby. Not to be upstaged, Pamela Susan Shoop also flashes her flesh while Judy Landers dons lingerie and a barely-there bathing suit. Speaking of, Judith Baldwin, K.C. Winkler, and Twyla Littleton strut their stuff in itsy bitsy teeny weeny bikinis. Needless to say, they have what it takes to make a splash on the small screen — and in Mr. Skin’s jeans! In other words, the series caused the Nielsen ratings (among other things) to rise. Since the show ended its run, there’s been talk of a 2024 movie version featuring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emily Blunt, Hannah Waddingham, Ryan Gosling, Stephanie Hsu, Teresa Palmer, Winston Duke, and Lee Majors himself! Until it comes out, we’ll be waiting with masturbated breath!
