The Electrical Life of Louis Wain (2021) is a PG-13 Amazon original movie that takes us on a fantastical adventure back in time. This film by director Will Sharpe is about a real British artist in the 19th century named Louis Wain (hey, that's the guy from the title) who is played by celebrated British actor Benedict Cumberbatch. He and his cat travel through England where he becomes well-known for painting surrealist paintings of his kitty. While this makes him famous in the U.K., other people wonder if is strange and increasingly surrealist paintings reflect his declining mental and emotional state. His cool, colorful cat paintings helped the public fall in love with cats as pets once again. He finds joy in cats and seeing the world through the eyes of cats! How cute is that? It is PG-13, so there is no explicit nudity...but there is some sexiness to sink our teeth into. Claire Foy stars as Louis Wain's wife Emily Richardson but does not give us anything super sexy. That honor belongs to the young, talented, beautiful actress named Hayley Squires. Hayley Squires plays Marie Wain who appears to be a little bit off-kilter when she turns around wearing a see-through white dress. Yes, she is fully clothed from head to toe, but she is wearing white and you can see her nips. That's right: it's Nipple-O-Clock with Hayley's hot hooters being seen through her white dress. The Electrical Life of Louis Wain will make you drain your vein.
