Jeremy Irons stars as an astronomer named Ed who gets involved with a much younger woman named Amy (Olga Kurylenko). Unfortunately, his work keeps him away from her most of the time, and they must correspond with one another via text and e-mail. One day, Amy gets word that Ed has died, but she is still receiving correspondence from Ed. Is it really Ed sending the messages? Is he really dead? Or is all of this an elaborate ruse?
