The Banishing (2021)

The Banishing (2020) is a horror film from director Christopher Smith about a family who moves into a palatial manor in the middle of nowhere. Uh oh! That's the first mistake in a horror movie, but we suppose they do not know that they are in a horror film. They move to a brand new place but find that the house has a horrible secret. Things start off with their daughter exploring the house and seeing scary things and hearing even worse things. For example, she tells her mother that she is not allowed to go into a certain room in the house because whatever lives there has told her she can't go. They must banish whatever is in the house or it will banish their hopes of surviving this place with their faith and humanity intact. It's quite a thriller, but it also brings us thrills with the lead actress. Jessica Findlay Brown stars in the series as the matriarch of the family. She plays Marianne Forster, the lady of the house, who looks amazing in her vintage attire. She looks even better when she takes off the attire and shows off her vintage undergarments. She shows up in her white bra when she undresses and then sits in front of the vanity to do her bedtime primping. She looks so pretty with her petite shoulders and perky pair that look like they are being held up nicely by her white bra. She gets distracted by spookiness, so we do not get to see much more.
