Sue (1997)

Sue (1997) is a dark look at a small life, with Anna Levine starring as a real mouseburger who watches her life go down the drain. She loses her job and her apartment, and her only lover has to travel to India. But the good news is that all of her isolation leads up to plenty of sexual compulsion! Okay, so the story’s played strictly for drama. Anna’s character still ends up residing in a cheap hotel, and her random sexual encounters are plenty hot stuff--if only because director Amos Kollek shoots them as perfectly ordinary encounters.
