Stop-Loss (2008)

Ryan Phillippe is Sgt. Brandon King, an Iraq war veteran called back after his tour is over as part of the military’s stop-loss program in Stop-Loss (2008), a drama from Boys Don’t Cry (1999) director Kimberly Peirce. Fed up with the situation, King goes AWOL and heads to Washington with a couple of his vet buddies to ask his congressman for help.
