Spanking the Monkey (1994)

The Audience Award winner at the 1994 Sundance Film Festival, David O. Russell's directorial debut Spanking the Monkey (1994) provides queerly comic and psychodramatic views of a motherfucker’s muddled motives. Ray Aibelli (Jeremy Davies) is a struggling medical student confined by circumstances to endure an entire summer caring for his incapacitated mother (Alberta Watson). Mom’s leg is busted up, which means he has to help her shower. Soon enough her kin is jerkin to what he sees. But it's not like Ray doesn't have other options. There's a high school girl named Toni Peck (Carla Gallo) who offers to ride his pecker. He takes the offer, which makes mom mad, and soon enough although she's hobbled she manages to get drunk and screw her son. When an aunt appears and declares herself able to take care of her sister, Ray sees an out. Will he take it, or is he too into giving it to his mama to flee the scene? This is a weird one that constantly asks you to empathize with a dude doing the unthinkable. But if we're being honest, it's hard not to think about what you'd do in his shoes after seeing the MILFtastic Alberta Watson au naturale. Whether it's a shot of her rack and bush while showering, or a great look at her upper thighs as Jeremy massages them to make her comfortable, you'll understand that this kid has one hot mama! Carla Gallo looks sublime-o in her bra and panties as the young lady Ray's also screwing. And as for the Ray's dad? That loser is off banging hookers like Liberty Jean, who we see displaying all three B's while walking around a motel fully nude. Ignore the gross plot, and embrace what's hot, and in no time you'll be Spanking the Monkey!
