Since You’ve Been Gone (1998) is a made-for-TV comedy about a 10-year high school reunion. It’s got its fair share of slapstick and gross-out humor, like supergluing a gal’s butt to the toilet seat, but there’s more than just laughs to the low-brow funhouse of a movie. Because we know the real reason for high school reunions is to finally tell that girl you lusted over silently through school your true feelings, which, fueled by alcohol and a dead-end life, usually results in a quickie in the bathroom. See, life has a happy ending! This movie touches on the sexual undercurrents driving the ex-students in older age, and for that we’re happy. Happier still we are for Lara Flynn Boyle, who, while fucking in the parking lot, shows off a bit of boob.
