Loosely inspired by Belgian serial killer Freddy Horion and his 1982 escape from prison, Shades (1999) stars Mickey Rourke as former cult Hollywood filmmaker Paul Sullivan attempting to return to his former glory by directing a controversial film about the life of fictional, sunglasses-wearing (hence the movie title) serial killer Freddy Lebecq (Jan Decleir). With the pushing and backing of Max Vogel (Gene Bervoets), a former lawyer turned producer, the contentious film might get made, but some will get murdered in the process. There’s nothing shady about Mercedes, Mireille Leveque, and Tine Reymer. The three femmes make some of their own movie magic, showing off their mini mams in various scenes of steamy fun. These gals will steam up your shades!
