Review

Sylvie Testud stars as Béa in Karnaval (1999). She plays the wife of a dock worker who falls for a French Arab (Amar Ben Abdallah) during the Carnival season—when men dress like women, women dress like circus goofs, and everybody drinks like fish. Bozo fetishists will be especially aroused by the always-sexy Sylvie’s nude scene here, as she’s done up in full clown make-up, at least from the neck up.
