John Doe is a factory worker named Joe Mosely who is riding his motorcycle across Nevada to scatter his friend's ashes in Roadside Prophets (1992), a cult road movie in the spirit of Easy Rider (1969). Along the way, he hooks up with Sam (Adam Horovitz), a young man in search of his lost parents who wants to travel with him provided that they only stay at Motel 9 lodges. He also encounters a host of wild characters including Arlo Guthrie, Timothy Leary, John Cusack, and David Carradine. Judyth Thurman and Jennifer Balgobin provide the film’s nudity as a pair of strippers who pop their tops. This road-trip flick will have you hitchhiking under the covers!
