Extra round and full figured with a plentifully plush cushioning at chest and stern, Italian B-flick icon Rita Calderoni was such a fecund figure of femininity that only two fates were available for her. She could either become a sort of freelance fertility goddess, bestowing instant impregnation upon barren couples with a single laying on of the glands, or she could wriggle and sway to the top of Italy’s booming market for grade-BBBB (as in Bare Boobs, Buns and Beav) skin and scare flicks. From 1969 to 1978, at least, Rita chose the second of these exemplary fates. Never bony Calderoni tossed aside tops and bottoms and whipped around her top and bottom in such skin screen thrillers as The Ghastly Orgies of Count Dracula (1972) and Nuda per Satana (1974). Satan’s nudity starts with starkly naked Rita attempting to corral her uncontainable chest ornaments with one hand while trying to cover her thick thatch with the other. Ha! Impossible! The silly woman ends up bending forward so that Satan may glimpse a wisp of pubic whiskers through the crack in her bum, and we can all thank God for that.
