An insurance executive resolves to give his secretary the Eliza Doolittle treatment in the French comedy Popularie (2012). In 1950's Normandy, Rose (Déborah François) rebels against her parents' expectations of marriage by moving to the city and taking a job in handsome, charismatic Mr. Echard (Romain Duris)'s office.
