Blonde Animals (2018) is a surreal French drama-comedy-mystery-extravaganza from a writing and directing team who brought this to us together. Maxime Matray and Alexia Walthier both wrote and directed this whole thing that follows a man named Fabien who used to be a sitcom star. Now? He's fumbling through life. His former co-star and good friend Corinne died in a motorbike accident, so he has survivor's guilt and doesn't know how to process his feelings. He also has no idea what to do with his life. He navigates love and life in this charming story of love and loss that also happens to feature beautiful French women. Thank god. That's why we're here: to see French girls take off their clothes. Well, I see Paris, I see France, I see Olivia Lioret without any pants. Olivia Lioret plays a "chatte" which is French for cat. Yes, cat. She plays a cat.
