The cult classic Spanish-American slasher flick Pieces (1982) opens with Beantown's own Timmy Reston (Alejandro Hernandez) putting together a puzzle of a naked woman. Then, when his mother bursts in the room and begins yelling at him for it, the boy hacks her to pieces, splattering the puzzle with blood. Never interrupt a man when he's doing a pornographic puzzle! Once he's chopped up his mom, the action moves to forty years later, when the gruesome murders of women on a college campus prompts the police to give the gig to both Lt. Frank Bracken (Christopher George) and the tennis-pro-cum-detective named Mary (Linda Day). Since the killer likes to chop the bodies into little pieces, the chainsaw wielding gardener (Paul Smith) is an obvious potential suspect, but he's got an alibi. When our detective duo is short on ideas, they enlist the help of a hunky student named Kendall (Ian Sera), who had earlier been a suspect. Kendall thinks the killer's a faculty member, and that he's taking all these body parts to create a human cadaver puzzle. After numerous bloody killing sequences (including one topless girl who visibly pees in her pants), a kung fu fight, and a good amount of nudity, the killer is revealed. Is Kendall's theory right? It might not matter after you see the shocking ending this 80's slasher became known for. An 80's slasher flick set at a college is truly the plot most guaranteed to have plenty of skin scenes. This slasher flasher doesn't break the mold, since there's plenty of twenty-something year old comely coeds taking their tops off in the film. Lying in bed with her teets just above the bedsheets, Pilar Alcon threw us a bone by going topless early on. Break me off a piece of that! Cristina Cottrelli decides to go for a topless dip in the pool, before she ends up getting attacked. And viewers even get their fill of Leticia Marfil when she shows all three B's taking her towel off before a dude with a chainsaw starts chasing her. Put that bush on a puzzle box and see how many dudes get their rocks off to it! Your jig will be glad you saw all that! Pieces is filled with fine pieces of ass!
