Half-informed sexperts believe that perky sweetheart P.J. Soles is a cult star due to her performance as a rabid fan in the Ramones' Rock 'n' Roll High School (1979). What must be realized is that Soles was a cult star even before being teamed up with the rebels from Rockaway Beach. P.J. played a secondary screamer in two massively influential scary movies: First overshadowed by Sissy Spacek in Carrie (1976) and then in the shade of Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween (1978), where we all enjoyed her topless jack-o(ff)-lanterns! P.J. continued to appear without her peejays in the comedy classic Stripes (1981)--but be sure to get the extended cut released in 2005, as all previous versions of the film left P.J.'s nude scene on the cutting-room floor. That's no place for a naked lady!
