Nada en la nevera (1998)

A female EMT and a pornographic cartoon artist represent the odd couple in Álvaro Fernández Armero’s Spanish comedy Nada en la nevera (1998). Titled Nothing in the Fridge in English, the film diagrams the odd relationship between ambulance driving Carlota (María Esteve) and a naughty scribbler who goes by the nom de plume Number One. Carlota’s interest strays somewhat, however, after she’s introduced to the artist’s slim lesbian roommate. With so many erotic options to explore, Esteve can hardly keep her clothes on, but she manages to nevertheless--a real bummer.
