Un buen novio (1998)

A Madrid policeman played by Fernando Guillén Cuervo makes Un buen novio (1998)--a good boyfriend--until his obsession with solving a murder leads him down a dark and dangerous path. Alex (Cuervo) and girlfriend Marta (Natalia Verbeke) get along swimmingly until the cop starts bringing his work home with him. Driven to nab the culprits behind a bloody bank robbery, Alex begins taking out his anger and frustration on poor Marta, who has trouble holding up under the physical and emotional strain. Male viewers will be rooting for her to ditch the meathead once and for all--Verbeke’s got sensational curves that deserve only the very best treatment.
