Iranian-born director Barbet Schroeder became a premiere filmmaker in the international film community with the release of More (1969). Scored with the music of the groundbreaking young Pink Floyd, set in breathtaking European beach locations and exposing far more high-caliber female flesh than most films of its time, More is a tender and sensual morality tale that might easily be a highly acclaimed arrival at the cineplexes if it were released today. Girls loving girls, a guy gloating in a threeway, casual drug use--what more could be asked for? Basically the cautionary story of a free-spirited couple who are a mite too free-loving for their own good, More was illuminated by the naked radiance of Mimsy Farmer and Louise Wink, two of the leading erotic lights of their day.
