Born in Nigeria, Minah Bird took flight in England. The beautiful black actress made her debut in the erotica of Layout for 5 Models (1972), where a girlie-mag editor fantasizes about his models. From that she went on to the sex comedy Four Dimensions of Greta (1972), one of those dimensions being Minah’s boob coming out from a loose-fitting top. It warps time and space with its sensual excess. That led to the interestingly entitled smut The Love Box (1972), the comedy-horror Vampira (1974), and the penis-transplant comedy Percy’s Progress (1974), starring Elke Sommer. That was all a prelude to her breast exposure in The Stud (1978), which also featured an early nude from Joan Collins. She almost made the big time in Alfie Darling (1975), a sequel to the Michael Caine hit that went nowhere but did feature Joan again. Ironically the black bad girl ended up in an episode of Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color but didn’t show her Mickey mice.
