Magenta (1996)

A morally wayward man pays dearly for his extramarital affair in the alluring American indie Magenta (1996). Julian McMahon stars as Michael Walsh, a married man whose life changes dramatically when his teenage sister-in-law pays a visit to his home. Walsh is so enchanted with Magenta (Crystal Dillan Atkins) that he decides to jeopardize his marriage and family in order to pursue her. He’s successful in the short term, but when his recently estranged wife (Alison Storry) and daughter die in a car accident, Michael’s situation spirals quickly out of control. Freak outcome aside, it’s a tough call between Atkins and Storry--both actresses make a strong case for coupling with their scintillating reveals.
