Born on Long Island and raised in Sarasota, Florida, Lynne Koplitz studied theatre at Troy State University and performed with a troupe in Knoxville, Tennessee before eventually moving to New York City to pursue stand-up. Most of her on-screen work since her debut in 1998 has been comedy specials and hosting gigs, appearing as herself on television shows like Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?, Gotham Comedy Live, This Week At The Comedy Cellar, and in the 2019 TV movie Funny Women of a Certain Age. This comedy queen's first acting role was in the series Z Rock from 2008-2009, and Lynne would go on to play Olivia Danes in Gays: The Series (2014-15), Joy in The King of Staten Island (2020), and Tricia in Louis C.K.’s Fourth of July (2022). In 2023, Lynne would reunite with King of Staten Island’s Pete Davidson for his series Bupkis as an escort hired for his dying grandfather (Joe Pesci).
