Boldly brunette with eyes of brown; a strong, dimpled chin; a full mouth full of sensual expression; and a tightly packed body that presents that most wonderful of dilemmas--whether to fixate upon the top shelf or bottom cheeks--it is only natural that saucy seductress Melanie Smith's simmering emoting should have been featured on three of the most definitive shows of the late twentieth century: Seinfeld, Melrose Place, and Beverly Hills, 90210. All would have been somewhat poorer if not for the riches contributed by Melanie. Born in Scranton, Melanie may never beat out The Office or the 46th president when it comes to the top spot of her hometown in Pennsylvania fame, but Melanie's Hollywood career was nothing to scoff at considering she left acting in the early 2000's to run a a Yoga studio. After a small appearance on Beverly Hills, 90210, Melanie first really hit her stride in the acting world as Emily Stewart on nearly five seasons of As the World Turns. All the world's heads were turning when Melanie played Peggy Davis in The Baby Doll Murders (1993), and showed off her oh baby are they nice knockers. While the movie was named after its serial killer's tendency to leave dolls at the scene of the crime, we were the ones goo-gooing at Melanie's gagas. Her career really broke out as journalist Celia Morales on Melrose Place, and as Jerry's girlfriend Rachel Goldstein on Seinfeld. While there were many "Jerry's girlfriend's" on the show, Melanie was hot enough that she was one of the few to stick around for multiple episodes. Over the course of her four episode run, she makes out with him during Schindler's List (1993), and most famously sees George suffering from post pool shrinkage: the only time Melanie's stood in front of a man and his member hasn't been bigger and more swollen than he ever thought possible. Smith even manages to exude innate sex appeal when her face is obscured by a mask of extraterrestrial grotesquerie, such as worn by Tora Ziyal on the cathode cult classic Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Melanie was the third and final actress to portray the half Bajoran half Cardassian daughter of Gul Dukat, but after appearing in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm in 2000, Melanie's acting was very sporadic until she gave up completely in 2009. Hopefully she returns to acting and takes her top off again. It's a felony we only got one nude look at Melanie!
