Lux Æterna (2020)

For his sixth feature film, Argentinian provocateur Gaspar Noé delivered the split screen phantasmagoria Lux Æterna (2020)! Actresses Charlotte Gainsbourg and Béatrice Dalle appear as fictionalized versions of themselves who are making a fictional film titled God's Craft about witches being burned at the stake. The film's screen splits and we are taken behind the scenes of the many conflicts happening during the making of the film while the film itself plays out on the right hand side of the screen. Like all of Noé's films, it's sure to divide audiences, though this time around he is quite literally dividing the audience's attention as well. You'll want to keep your eyes glued to the left side of the screen as that's where the film's nudity happens as actresses Abbey Lee and nudecomers Clara Deshayes and Stefania Cristian all go topless while changing outfits backstage! Where or not you like the rest of Gaspar's film, there's literally Noé you won't enjoy those scenes!
