Luminarias (2000)

Luminarias (2000) takes its title from the name of a restaurant in the film that serves as a gathering place for its four main characters, a quartet of Latin-American lovelies who hail from East Los Angeles. The friends are attorney Andrea (Evelina Fernandez), psychologist Sofia (Marta DuBois), artist Lilly (Angela Moya), and clothing designer Irene (Dyanna Ortelli). Luminarias is a sexy, saucy slice of Chicano life utterly unlike what audiences have come to expect--and it's both tasty and tangy enough to leave everyone hungering for more!
