Logan (2017)

Logan (2017) marks the ninth time that Hugh Jackman played the famously unfriendly, adamantium filled, mutton chopped man with the spikes in his hands, and will likely go down as his best work in the genre. Rated R, this gritty take on the aging X-Man was nominated for "Best Adapted Screenplay" and used practical effects, unlike the CGI heavy superhero flicks we're used to. This installment in the X-Men series takes place in 2029, and shows Wolverine laying low near the U.S.-Mexico border, where he's working as a limo driver and caring for an elderly and demented Professor Charles Xavier. Mutants have been almost completely taken out of the human bloodline at this point, both by Xavier's accidental psychic blasts that he can't control, and drugs introduced to our food supply. Or so they think. But when the albino mutant who can sense others like him named Caliban (Stephen Merchant) starts sensing a young, Spanish speaking girl who may be more than human, the two track her down and meet young Laura (Dafne Keen). Logan and Laura, who ends up being his daughter, start a quest for Eden, a sanctuary where the remaining mutants can live together. But Laura is being hunted by a group of cyborg hunters called Reavers. Logan's not the man he used to be, as his healing powers have degraded with age. Can our reluctant hero turn back the clock to save the last of the mutants? Even Logan's early driving career seems exciting in the this film, thanks to Lauren Gros, who plays a bridesmaid that flashed him from the backseat of a limo! We'd like to be with her in the backseat of any car! The best tits Wolverine's ever seen, we're thankful for the quick flash in Logan!
