With a movie title like Live Flesh (1997), and coming from one of the sexier countries in the EU, you might have some expectations going into this movie. What it’s actually about is a guy named Victor and a girl named Elena who meet one day and sort of hit it off. They get into an intense argument almost immediately and the police show up and a gun accidentally goes off. Victor’s sent to prison, and one of the cops David, becomes wheelchair bound. David also winds up married to Elena, and when Victor gets out of prison, he reenters their lives. Francesca Neri, playing Elena, gives us a couple of breast shots while preparing to shower, and while she’s in the shower. And Ángela Molina looks great in underwear, but would probably look much better out of it. I think that in order to claim it as live flesh, we’re going to need to see a little more.
