Magic Hunter (1994)

When a police detective accidentally shoots a kidnapping victim, he’s asked to make a deal with the devil in the dark fantasy tale Magic Hunter (1994). Set in Budapest and loosely modeled on the Weber opera Der Freischutz, the film stars Gary Kemp as Max, a police marksman who’s bestowed with seven magic bullets after pulling the trigger on a hostage. The deal Max is given is as follows: The first six bullets will hit their intended target, but the seventh will pierce whatever hide the devil chooses. A complex, often darkly humorous meditation on fate and chance, Ildik Enyedi’s film fulfills all of the requirements of fantasy by capturing co-star Sadie Frost in the buff.
