Former “club kid” Lisa Edelstein was the toast of New York City for a brief period in the 1980s. Unlike her peers, she didn’t end up a statistic—she created a new life and a new voice for herself by penning a musical about AIDS called Positive Me, which became a springboard for a hosting gig on the MTV show Awake on the Wild Side in 1990. The show was short lived, but audiences responded to the brainy brunette beauty and she parlayed her camera-ready long limbs into a brilliant career as an actress on screens large and small. You may recognize lovely Lisa from roles on Almost Perfect (which could describe Lisa herself!), The West Wing, and Ally McBeal, though she’s best known these days as Dr. Lisa Cuddy on the award-winning medical drama House. It wasn't until Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce that we got to see Lisa's derriere, when she runs around the house in the buff in nothing but a pair of heels!
