Showbiz brothers with the unfortunate last name of Soeur (or “Sister”) collaborate on a blackmail-cum-moviemaking scheme in the zany French comedy Les Frères Soeur (2000). Unable to find anyone to front the cash for the ambitious film project they hope to direct, brothers Jacques (Denis Podalydes) and Charlie (Jose Garcia) decide to shoot tape of a wealthy producer committing adultery in hopes of blackmailing him into bankrolling their project. The devious scheme is derailed, however, when their cheating mark sends a bodyguard (Jean-Francois Stevenin) to get revenge on the scheming siblings. It’s a shame that the Sister brothers have such a hard time getting the shoot off the ground, because they’ve lined up an undeniably talented cast. Alexandra London offers a sweet peek at what she’d be like in a feature-length performance by treating the Sisters’ camera to a quick nip.
