À l'attaque! (2000)

Two good friends named Yvan and Xavier are screenwriters and they’ve decided that they want to write a political film. The film follows them throughout the writing process as they make mistakes, work on characters, go back and revise, and progress to fine tune the story until we get the story within a story. Overall it is about an auto garage called Moliterno & Co. The characters who run the garage are named Gigi and Jean-Do. The two of them aren’t very good at their job of repairing cars. A crazy cast of characters gets created to add quirks to the story, and ultimately a multinational corporation comes along to threaten the economic stability of the garage.
