In the immortal words of minimalist architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, “Less is more.” The phrase certainly applies to Leonette Scott since the ebony actress has only two film credits to her name. That’s a shame, because this former Soul Train dancer has a great body that deserves a great body of work. Nicknamed “Famous Foxx,” the foxy performer made her movie debut in John Singleton’s career defining film Boyz N the Hood (1991) starring s Ice Cube, Laurence Fishburne, Regina King, and Angela Bassett. In the critically acclaimed coming of age drama, Leonette plays Tisha — a beautiful babe who reveals her rack while riding Cuba Gooding, Jr. in the sack. Too bad, his grandma comes home from church to find the two sinning upstairs. Ms. Scott’s next (and final?) film is Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood (1996) starring Shawn and Marlon Wayans. Unfortunately, the only thing Leonette exposes during the Boyz N the Hood parody is her comic timing. And taking in her funny bone isn’t exactly enough to give Mr. Skin a bone. Still, here at Skin Central, we can always savor Leonette’s “Girls N the Bed” while re-watching Boyz N the Hood. Or, we can bone up on the ingenue’s zodiac sign to learn more about her. Born in the beginning of February, the California girl is an Aquarius. This means Leonette is a free spirit who is ruled by Uranus. Guess that's why it’s called ass-trology!
