Le Retour de Casanova (1992)

As the title suggests, Le Retour de Casanova (1992) is the story of the renowned Casanova and his last and ultimate seduction. An aging and increasingly frustrated Casanova returns to his beloved Venice to attempt the seduction of the daughter of a wealthy landowner. The film is luscious and romantic, with beautiful set design and period costumes. Before his masterpiece is complete, Casanova will have to fight a duel as well.
