The beloved box office hit Kramer vs. Kramer (1979) charmed fans and critics alike — not to mention raking in plenty of industry accolades. In addition to being named Best Picture at the Academy Awards, the movie marked the first Oscars for Best Actor Dustin Hoffman (he’d win again for 1988’s Rain Man) and Best Supporting Actress Meryl Streep, who would later take home the Best Actress gold for Sophie’s Choice (1982) and The Iron Lady (2011). Robert Benton also received Oscar victories for directing the film and adapting its screenplay from Avery Corman’s novel “Kramer Versus Kramer” (1977). Set in New York City, the story follows the Kramer family. Ted (Hoffman) is an ad exec who lives for his job, and doesn’t appreciate his wife Joanna (Streep) and son Billy (Oscar-nominated Justin Henry). Feeling trapped and alone, Joanna picks up and goes. Over the next 18 months, Ted must become a true parent to his son. Initially it’s not easy but eventually he finds his Dad groove — just when Joanna returns. She wants a divorce as well as custody of Billy. Unfortunately, that goes double for Ted who takes Joanna to court. But not before he takes the company attorney Phyllis Bernard (Jobeth Williams) back to his place. Trouble is, Ted shares his home with his young son. And when the kid gets up in the middle of the night, he runs into a naked Phyllis in the hall. As such, we get to see Jobeth’s JoBreasts, JoBush and Jobutt!
