Juliette in Spring (2024)

Taking a break that will hopefully help treat her recent bouts of depression, panic attacks, and insomnia, children’s book illustrator Juliette (Izïa Higelin) takes the train from Paris to the village of Bressan near Lyon to visit her family. She stays with her father, Léonard (Jean-Pierre Darroussin), who has lived alone since getting divorced from her artist mother, Nathalie (Noémie Lvovsky). There, Juliette joins her father and sister Marylou (Sophie Guillemin) as they clean out the house of their grandmother Simone (Liliane Rovère) since she has now moved to a retirement home, but when she uncovers a box from her childhood, Juliette is faced with an unresolved past trauma that may be the key her psychological problems. Nobody in the family wants to deal with it, though, especially her sister who’s got enough on her plate as it is: a mobile hair salon, two kids, and an insatiable hubby (Thomas de Pourquery), for starters. Skin veteran Sophie and Thomas strip all the way down to plant a different kind of seed on the floor of a greenhouse and then run around outside still completely in the buff. Seeing Sophie’s pendulous pair, poon, and posterior on full display will make your lap spring to life!
