Biography
Jo Kennedy is an Australian actress, film director and screenwriter. She won the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the 35th Berlin International Film Festival for her role in the film Wrong World (1985), but to American audiences she is breast known as Jackie in the film Starstruck (1982). Though never theatrically released stateside, it developed a cult following on cable TV and spawned a soundtrack album with the hit single “Body and Soul,” sung by Jo, which was written by Tim Finn of Split Enz. It also made her a skin star with her tits bared in a couple of scenes where she wasn’t wearing sexy outfits.
