It’s fair to say sexy Brit Jessica Raine’s path to success as an actor was not a traditional one. Born and raised on farm in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, England, she was a long way from London’s West End, but she was infatuated with acting and plays so she grew up reading plays and dramas before studying English and drama at the University of the West of England. After school, she took a year off and moved to Thailand to work as an English teacher before then moving back and starting to audition for plays. She quickly established herself as a quality actor among the stage community. She began landing small parts in movies and TV shows then became known to a much larger audience when she landed one of the lead parts in the TV series Call the Midwife.

Most of Jessica’s screen work has been on TV. Luckily or us, TV in the UK is a little more open minded, so we get a chance to see some skin. In the pilot episode of the show Patrick Melrose, Jessica and Benedict Cumberbatch relax in bed chatting and drinking. Jessica is looking all kinds of fine in just a button up shirt and her underwear. Later, that same season, she’s back in bed with Dr. Strange having a post-bang smoke looking sexy in her thigh high stockings and lacy bra. As Jessica’s career continues to grow, we’ll keep our fingers crossed that Ms. Raine will cause a storm in our pants by showing more skin!
