Sure, Jacqueline Frances was a stripper, but she’s managed to parlay it into so much more. The blonde babe was born in Ontario, Canada, and graduated from McGill University with degrees in Russian Literature and Cultural Theory. She worked in advertising, then travelled to Southeast Asia where she became a stock model and dinner theater dancer. She then moved to Australia, got tired of being a poor traveler, “shaved my legs and bush, and showed up to the first Google search result that come up for ‘gentlemen’s club Sydney,’ got naked for this fat old guy named Jim and, to my surprise, I liked it. A lot.” That’s what Jacqueline wrote in the first book she penned after moving to New York City two years after her stripping career began. The Beaver Show: The Crass and Inspiring Saga of an Enterprising Megababe was published in 2015, followed by Striptastic!: A Celebration of Dope-Ass Cunts Who Like Money, The Inquisitive Stripper, and How Not to Be a Dick In a Strip Club in 2017; and the Strippers Forever Activity Book in 2018. She also used her stripper experience to be a consultant on the movie Hustlers (2019), with Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, and Julia Stiles, and even joined them in a dressing room scene, where her bare boobs share screen time next to JLo. And if that wasn’t enough to convince you a degree in Russian Literature can lead to a good career, she’s also a stand-up comedienne who produced and starred in Venus Fly Trap, a sex-positive comedy show that has toured nationally. She also draws and paints, too, and has had exhibitions like “Motivational Bimbos” at Body & Pole in Manhattan.
