Jabberwocky (1977)

Jabberwocky (1977) isn’t exactly a Monty Python movie even though it’s directed by Terry Gilliam and features Michael Palin and Terry Jones, all of whom hail from the famed comedy troupe. Like 1975’s Monty Python and the Holy Grail (which was directed by Gilliam and Jones), this flick is set in the Dark Ages. Based on a poem from Lewis Carroll’s “Through the Looking-Glass” (1871), the fantasy follows a peasant named Dennis Cooper (Palin). After suffering the loss of his father, Dennis travels into town where he encounters many things, including news that a monster called Jabberwocky is on the loose. King Bruno the Questionable (Max Wall) hosts a joust tournament to decide who can fight the creature. If successful, the winner will get half of the kingdom as well as the hand of his Princess daughter (Deborah Fallender). The PG rated movie also includes Alexandra Dane, Annette Badland, Brenda Cowling, Janine Duvitski, Neil Innes, Sarah Grazebrook, and Ms. Fallender’s fair flesh! During a bathing scene, the Princess is scrubbed up by a bunch of nuns. The skintastic act means we get to view Deborah’s full frontal nudity! When Dennis enters the room, the naked knockout talks to him — all while we get to glance at her bare ass! That is, until the head nun (Mollie Maureen) covers her up. But even when Deb is wearing a dress, it’s pretty much see-through. Suffice it to say, the entire scene will excite your jabbercocky so you may have to jab yer jocky!
