The German drama Ivo (2024) stars Minna Wündrich in the title role of a palliative care nurse who provides end of life care for a wide range of patients. Her teenage daughter Cosima (Lilli Lacher) has effectively raised herself as Ivo is constantly busy with work, and Ivo has even taken to living out of her car to avoid contact with Cosima. While providing care for Solveigh (Pia Hierzegger), a woman with terminal cancer, she begins an affair with Solveigh's husband Franz (Lukas Turtur). The pair grow closer over the months, but as Solveigh's condition worsens, she soon asks Ivo to do the unthinkable, putting all three of them in a precarious position.
