Sira (2023)

Caravaning through the Sahal desert, Sira (Nafisatou Cisse), the daughter of a Muslim leader, is on her way to marry Jean Sidi (Abdramane Barry), a well-to-do Christian farmer. No one on either religious side is happy about this except for Sira and Jean, who are head over heels in love, so their parents have given in and decided to bless the union. On the way, however, the caravan is targeted by a group of terrorists and their leader, Yere (Lazare Minoungou) brutally assaults Sira and leaves her for dead. Sira survives, though, finds the terrorists' camp and starts secretly stealing their food and water. When she discovers they’ve captured a bunch of women and turned them into sex slaves, Sira teams up with them and plans an escape, while her beloved Jean sets off on a journey to find her. Ruth Werner makes her nudecomer debut as one of the kidnapped women in the camp who ends up getting stripped down and tortured. Not the most fun nudity for sure, but still worth a watch!
