A critically acclaimed, bleakly and blackly humorous look at unbridled human misbehavior, Ivansxtc (2000) concerns the last fading days of a rising Hollywood agent who succumbs to cancer before he can capitalize on his big break. This comedic premise (even funnier than a drowning lawyer) allows the declining agent, Ivan, to evaluate the worth of his life by examining the reactions of his friends to the news that he will soon be expired. Since Ivan’s cohorts and colleagues are all culled from the same showbiz pool that spawned his reptilian self, expect to be entertained by a procession of lounge lizards, forked-tongue snakes, and horny toads.
