Irreconcilable Differences (1984)

Irreconcilable Differences (1984) is a star vehicle for nine-year-old Drew Barrymore. She plays Casey Brodsky, the neglected daughter of egomaniacal movie director Albert Brodsky (Ryan O'Neal, whose stardom was on the wane) and frantic screenwriter Lucy Van Patten Brodsky (Shelly Long, whose stardom was on the rise). When her parents announce they're splitting up, young Lucy sues them for divorce, opting to live with their Mexican maid, who's been raising her anyway. The comedic drama takes a turn for the all-out erotic with the appearance of Sharon Stone as an aspiring starlet who's willing to bare her impossibly pert young bosom to get a part. What a pro!
