A misogynistic millionaire discovers an invention that improves his life considerably in the bawdy Italian sex comedy Io e Caterina (1980). While on holiday in America, Enrico (Alberto Sordi) is introduced to a robot trained to cook and clean and decides it will make a perfect replacement for his wife, maid, and mistress. Unfortunately the robot takes a shine to passerby Elisabetta (Edwige Fenech) and begins bringing her home for bouts of Sapphic skin-on-metal action. The robot may not have a brain, but it certainly has impeccable taste--Fenech can light it up with man or machine, and she excels here by dropping her towel for the robo-maid.
